Our Google days are over
We finished up the last of our google days and performed whatever we had created for the class. I played one of our band chants on trombone. This experience as a whole has been very fun and rewarding. I have played trombone at all of the football games I have gone to since I started this project, and I plan to keep on playing trombone in the pep band. :) It is a lot more fun than playing flute at the football games.

Step By Step
I practiced a little tonight, mostly just long tones and a little bit of Disney music :) I feel like I'm falling into the trombone stereotype already... I lost the music.
I'm going to get more tomorrow, but so far, it's going pretty well. :)

Just Kidding!
I realized today that it is very hard to record at school, so I decided to pick a new project. I am now going to learn all the pep band music on trombone. I started with "Sunshine of Your Love", and was going to attempt the fight song, but its too hard for right now. I am going to try and get some easier stuff down first.
Progressing Like A Turtle
I’ve been working on the music, and I know the piano part really well. I started recording the piano part a little bit, but I have to use a microphone instead of just my computer input because it sounds bad at the moment. :(
I need to fix the string I broke on my guitar before I can learn that part, and the string I broke happens to be the only one that I dont have like three extras of. How convenient.

Song Choice Made!
I decided that the song I will record is going to be Hallelujah from Shrek.
Falling Slowly is apparently overdone a bit, and I don’t know any of the instrumental parts for Lullabye yet, so the only choice left is Hallelujah.
I’m thinking that I will include piano, multiple voice tracks, flute, and maybe a little light percussion, depending on how it all works out.
Next stop: Recording the piano part!
Beginning
To begin, I must think of something to do. I need a music project that will be creative, fun, educational, and AMAZING! ;)
I will record a song entirely by myself. I will play piano, guitar, sing, and maybe add percussion or flute. Then I will put all the tracks together so it can sound good.
My next step: pick a song.
Oh, and Check this out!
